A bee is attracted to a prettiest flower;
A girl is attracted to a sweetest boy;
I am attracted to the heartless you.

'Her eyes squinted, not because of the bright daylight, but to see better of him. Yes! It was him. The tall bespectacled figure with a red shirt on was slowly approaching her in the midst of the crowds. Surrounding them were a lot of noises, particularly from the drummers and chit-chats by streetwalkers. They were down in the busy street of the bustling city centre. They promised to meet each other and have a nice cuppa. For her, it would be a memorable cuppa since they last met. Casting her mind back to the past, she met him in an inter-high school competition around two years back. She spotted him when he came out of the other room, leaning against the wall, and talked to his schoolmate. Some sort of intense feeling told her that he would be a nice guy. The smile on his face appeared to be attractive to her. She suddenly became so excited and keen regarding his background. After that day, she knew a lot of him through her friends from the same school that he attended. Sometimes she felt she was such a silly person. When she got his email address via another friend, she was happy like a small girl being given her favourite lollipop. However, that was just the first step. They did chat with each other in msn, but she would not think beyond that even though sometimes she would. But she knew it was impossible. A year lapsed, and they still had not met each other since the high school activity. Then, it was time for him to leave for a better place. She knew that well, and just hoped they would keep in touch always. Another year lapsed, and here they were. He asked her out for a cuppa since he was staying there for a few days. On hearing the surprise invitation, she was so glad to the extent that she kept on smiling even in her sleep. Again, she felt like a silly girl. Back in the street, he slowly approached her. They said hi. He was far taller than her, about 10-15 cm taller than her. She had to angle her neck in such a way that she could see him clearly. It was a bit awkward, but she was trying to keep their conversation alive and enjoyable. They walked down the street in search of a nice place to sit down under the broad sunny fine day which she thought it was in favour for her. While walking together, she felt that she was indeed blessed. She beamed. At last, they went in a coffee shop (presumably Starbucks?). They both went to order drinks, chit-chatting all the way even though she was a bit shy and running out of ideas of what to talk about. But it was blissful. They chatted on random topics, any subjects that could come up. Also, they snapped some pictures of themselves. Good time always lapsed quickly and guiltlessly. Soon, it was farewell time. He turned his back and headed for the train station. She was happy, yet unsure of when they would meet again. She made her way through the crowds, taking the good memories with her until now. Day after day, she hopes that they will still remember each other although they are merely friends. She is glad to know him. (: '
